Introducing the

Nigel Barker

Collection

Ice World Collection

In this series of images taken while working on my film A Sealed Fate?, I photographed the stunning icy landscape 35 miles off the coast of New Foundland and one of the ocean's magnificent creatures - the Harp Seal. I was there for the birth of the white coat pups and documented their transformation into seals over a two week period. These photos show nature metamorphosize alongside the seal pups in what is one of the most wondrous sights to behold.

Morocco Collection

One of the oldest communities known to man, Morocco and its people have created a vibrant visual tapestry. I first visited as a child and have since returned for countless fashion stories. These inspirational images are of the locations we used for various photo shoots. From kasbahs on the beaches of Essaouira to the souks of Marrakech, through these vivid photos you can almost hear the hustle and bustle of the market to the tranquil serenity of the Atlantic Ocean.

New York Collection

The city that never sleeps, she is both a seductress and a romantic, hot and cold, easy and difficult, but always intoxicating. My New York series captures the heart and soul of the city hopefully leaving you invigorated and entranced. She has been my home for 15 years and the juxtaposition of wealth and success against tough urban streets adorned in graffiti keep me well grounded and inspired.

Moon Warriors Collection

Working in the fashion industry gives me the opportunity to think and create outside the box. Using moonlight to create surreal images without the use of Photoshop has long been the bastion of fine art photographers. So in order to dream up a fashion story worthy of the celebrated American Photo Magazine, I combined old school techniques with cutting edge technology. Using digital cameras capable of long exposure, my team and I headed for Montauk to photograph our eclectic models using only the light of the full moon. Fashion is normally photographed out of season and our ladies, although they came in pieces, were able to hold it together for 30 minute exposures in subzero conditions.
