Panorama of the Nobel Company, the All-Russian Exhibition, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, 1896. Staged from 28 May to 1 October 1896, the All-Russia industrial and art exhibition was the largest exhibition to be staged in Russia before the 1917 Revolution. Financed by Tsar Nicholas II, it was intended to showcase the industrial and technological achievements of Russia in the late 19th century. Found in the collection of the Institute for the History of Material Culture, St Petersburg. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
